President's Award to Paul A. Vanek by the Houston CPA Society

HOUSTON, TEXAS (May 25, 2012) - The Houston CPA Society presented to Paul A. Vanek, Managing Member of The Vanek Consultancy Group, LLC, a Presidential Citation for his efforts on the Finance Committee for the year 2011-2012 at its annual awards ceremony at the Brae Burn Country Club on May 24, 2012.

"I am humbled to receive this Presiential Citation," said Mr. Vanek.  "Though I may have received this award, there were many people that I worked along side with this past year to accomplish so many meaningful things.  This award represents a tremendous amount of teamwork by a group of dedicated professionals trying to make a difference in the community."

Mr. Vanek is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Houston CPA Society (the "Society") in the capacity of Treasurer-Elect.  He is also the Chair of the Society's Finance Committee, and Vice Chair of the Investment Committee.  He will be the Treasurer for 2012-2013, and will also be the Chair of the Society's Investment Committee and Co-Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee.
